Objectives:

This workpackage aims at the development of an electrically contacted detector compatible with the proposed optical wiring, having a high conversion efficiency and small footprint

Demonstration of the coupling to the passive optical layer of electrically connected detectors fabricated with single-step epitaxy.
Demonstration of the coupling to the passive optical layer, with improved coupling efficiency, of electrically connected detectors.
Comparison of both detector types in terms of functionality, performance and cost.
